My Workout: Physique 57

I get asked a lot how do you eat so much and not gain weight?  I have 2 answers:  1) portion control and 2) work out.  I gain weight just like everyone else but I’m conscious of what I put in my body and I work out really hard.  My girlfriend Carla introduced me to Physique 57 4 years ago when we worked together in Rockefeller Center.  She told me it was an addictive exercise that would whip me up into shape and it would be fun to go together after work.  The first time I went, I thought I was going to die literally die but after it was over, I became hooked.  I have been going every week for 4 years.  I am in the best shape of my life.  When I need to get bikini ready, I go 3 – 5 times a week and the muffin top melts off.  Proof below…

It’s a really fun workout because they play great music but it’s also really challenging because you’re constantly moving.  It’s so empowering when your body gets so strong.  It is a little expensive but I think of it as an investment in myself.  For the past year, I’ve become addicted to Chanelle’s Formula 57 class.  It’s a hybrid of Pilates and a traditional Physique class.  If you can’t get to a studio, they have videos and they just came out with a book called, the Physique 57 Solution.
