Most girls dream of their wedding dress, I’ve been dreaming of my dream kitchen.  When I first saw the kitchen in the new home, it took my breath away.  I never thought that dreams can become a reality and that one day I would be cooking in such a beautiful kitchen.  I would often get made fun of with my inspiration boards (thanks Oprah!).  I would tear out magazine photos and pin them on a cork board but thanks to Pinterest, I’ve created virtual inspiration boards.  When I look back to my dream kitchen board, it kind of scares me how much my current kitchen looks like the dream kitchens I’ve pinned.  It’s true what they say, dreams start with an idea.  It’s been quite easy buying everything for the kitchen because I’ve already envisioned it on my inspiration board and my head.  Stay tuned for the finished kitchen.

    Hi Laura,
You probably have no idea who I am! lol
I visited your mum’s saloon the other day and we got talking since I spent about 5 hours with her (straightening my hair!) Anyhow, we got along right from the get go and she shared stories about your sister and you, and encouraged me to check out your blog. I’m very glad that I did!
I just wanted to say that you have an amazing mum who is so very proud of you. And your blog is testimonial to the fact that you’ve got her spirit 🙂 I hope you guys enjoy some family time this weekend.

    • Dear Priyam,

Thank you so much for writing! My mom is amazing. She’s truly a one of a kind. Thanks for visiting and writing your kind words! All the best, Laura
